Vote for Alex Marshall on Beatport!

Hey, guys! If you missed Marshall’s Ustream yesterday, he was working on a remix for a Beatport contest. You can read up about the full contest here if you’re interested. In short, Beatport is taking remix submissions until May 20th. The song that gets the most plays between now and the end of the voting period, June 3rd, will be eligible to win the contest. The winner announcement will be made one month later on July 3rd.

What does this mean for you guys? Extensive streaming! Go here to listen to Marshall’s submission. Voting doesn’t open up until May 21st, however play count is taken into consideration! As of last night the highest play count is 4,000. They may have a head start, but I’d like to think symphony soldiers are infamous for being the successful underdog.

Head over and give it a listen! More than once. Let’s get Marshall’s play count up! While you’re there, you may want to register for an account to prepare for the voting period. Just go to the home page and click “Sign up for an account” in the top right-hand corner. You can leave a comment on Marshall’s page once you have an account!
